The show looks very intriguing and for $25 the price is right. Are the seats what ever they have left or is there a certain section. I have read many different things about this rush but nothing sounds too concrete.
Can anyone clarify where seating is located or where you have sat when you bought Passing Strange Rush tickets. Thank You.

There are a few threads on the topic. Searching for the title of this thread should definitely find them.
Seats seem to be whatever is left. I got 12th row of the orchestra on the aisle for the saturday after opening. The theater is selling so poorly that I'm sure you'll get something decent.

I figured I'd bump up a new thread without making a new one to clog up the boards
Anyway
I'm going to be in the city on April 23rd and wanted to get Passing Strange rush tix for the 2PM show that day.
Where have they been located? & I also want to get SA rush that day for the night show could I still get PS rush after I get SA so If I get to the BO at like 11AM can I still get a good full view seat? or will I have to get in line b4 the BO opens this is for a Wednesday Matinee
Thanks for your help

I don't know specifically where the rush seats are. When I rushed my seats were house right like the 12th row. They were considered partial view, but the only thing that was really out of view was one of the band members.
In terms of availabilty, you shouldn't have a problem rushing SA and still getting Passing Strange tickets. That's exactly what I did. Actually, I got my SA tickets, lost the In The Heights lotto, checked out the TKTS board and STILL got rush tickets to PS. And this was on a Sunday, so the SA BO didn't even open until noon. Long story short, from my experience, it shouldn't be a problem getting PS tickets. And if you can't get rush tickets, the have seats for the same price as the rush tickets higher up.

Posted: 4/3/08 at 6:42pmThe rush tix are not set in stone-depends on that day's availability. They are generally excellent seats, mostly first row center, left, and right, and also sides, house right, rows a-j. he Belasco is a small, intimate orch. Not one person has ever complained about sightlines, as there is no big set. It's kind of exciting to sit that close, for young people, especially. You shouldn't have too much trouble getting rush (even late in the day), that is, until Tony Nom. time.

Bumping this, so I don't have to start another thread. Is this a general rush or a student rush? And is it when the box office opens?

Went to the box office last Saturday at around 5:30 and napped two rush tickets that were located all the way to the left on the front row.
You have to be very specific when requesting rush tickets, because after I asked if there were any rush tickets left the box office guy pointed to the pricing poster and tried to sell me regular priced tickets. I had to ask again, emphasizing that I wanted RUSH tickets, to which to finally sold me the 26.50 seats.
Be forewarned, if you're sitting in the front row you might want to bring your shades...that set gets freakin BRIGHT at times.

Sorry for the bump but I could not find the answer for this.
The website was unclear, it 1 ticket per ID?

How has this been lately? Where have people been getting seats lately? Is it hard? What time should I be there for wed. night?

They only sell a certain amount of rush tickets. They can sell you balcony seats for the same price, and chances are you will be moved down to the mezz.
The view from the mezz is good, but it's more fun in the orchestra.
I went to the show the day they announced the TONY nominations. I went at around 5pm, and they didn't have any rush tickets, and the mezz was only half full. The sooner you go, the better, obviously.
