There's no ideal way to describe the show. It's not a traditional musical, it's a rock concert with a story.

It's about a guy finding himself. Of course, I walked out of the theater saying "I have no idea what the hell that was."

And that was a good thing. Made me think.

This is just my assumptions..okay? ( I posted this on another thread again)

PASSING STRANGE will have great reviews.. why? bec. its a good show and the critics are getting tired of the same old thing....after YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (another Mel Brooks) and THE LITTLE MERMAID (another Disney) - most likely critics will embraced it... and then we are going to have tons of people in the board again saying.. oh.. I love the show!.... PLS MAKE UP YOUR MIND RIGHT NOW( for those whove seen it) or SEE THE SHOW then form your opinion...not after the critics' rave reviews....because I am going to save the thread after the reviews...

and IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE SHOW ... DONT MAKE COMMENTS how unintresting is it... bec.you will be suprised...how great is the show! or should we make the critics or the majority of this board prove us wrong again.. remember XANADU.. that was not a long time ago?!

PS will get great reviews because the reviews of the show at the Public were so positive.

Isherwood is reviewing both this and In the Heights, since he did them Off-Broadway.

That's what the shows have going for them.

I just dont get it. I thought I was being punished having to sit through this show. Maybe it's just me? I am in 20s , so it's not the old factor of it being too loud.
