To repeat what I said in the other thread, I actually think this song is better than many of the songs in Wicked.
Heh, I agree.
Unfortunately when I went to that site it played the commercial, then wouldn't play the song. Sadface.
i love wicked but i have to agree, this sort of combo of popular and what is this feeling, is kinda better than most of the wicked songs

If they do a Wicked film, I hope they do get other people to write new songs. I'm thinking of the potential they have if they keep the songs the work and get rid of songs (and scenes) that don't.
so funny!
That was really funny!
I enjoyed it.
But, I enjoy Wicked more.
That was GREAT!!!! :)

I don't care how detestable any show is, I despise it when other people write songs for movie versions, and would never wish that on any writer.
did you guys know that the actress playing the young Esmerelda in this episode of Passions is Melissa Fahn, the understudy for Glinda in LA? I thought that was kinda funny.
Spellbinding the song is really good,
the costumes are horrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible
yes....in fact she has been a Glinda understudy since the original Broadway cast.
yeah, I thought she looked familair so I pulled out my playbill from when I saw Wicked like three years ago and there she was.

This was a better song than any of the songs in "Wicked". They should put it in the show.
Redundant much?

"Passions" Rocks! It will be missed by NBC and the fans when it moves to Direct TV in September. The world does not need another hour of the Today Show.
I loved it!
That one part that went "Something's out of place, something's amiss" sounded like something out of Wicked. Very Schwartz-ian.
Here's the second song: http://www.nbc.com/Passions/video/#mea=124503
mejusthavingfun-your comments (I'm gonna say I like it better than the bway show!)

This was surprisingly good. I don't even watch Passions, but I recorded today's episode and loved the Wicked vignette.
I wonder if they are going to make a recording...

This was surprisingly good.
"Passions" is always surprisingly good. I've been trying to tell all of you that for a few years now!

I had no idea this was going to be on Passions so I was just watching as usual when Tabitha started to say some really familiar things...they started to go into a flashback and I thought "Good God, if a girl comes out and she's green I don't even know what I'll do.." Thank God it was just a tribute. Since I had no idea I thought they were actually trying to pawn all of it off as original stuff! And I actually thought it was really bad. I haven't had to opportunity to see Wicked but I've loved the soundtrack for years and I have yet to hear people who can do justice to the parts the way the original cast did. I didn't like the re-written songs at all. I sincerely hope that they NEVER put those songs in if they make a Wicked movie. The original songs are greatly enjoyable and impressive with Kristin & Idina's vocals.

And I think the songs are much better than anything in "Wicked", a show I have seen twice but have no desire to own the CD.
