Just got this google news alert about Patrick. He'll be on stage--but in LA. Quite a powerful cast has been assembled for this reading benefit. Wow! Kudos to Patrick!

If they add a playful "de-pantsing" scene I'll be on the red-eye! He's a perfect choice for Joe Gillis! This entire event sounds wonderful!

Don't forget that he's closer to home June 14-July 4. He's going to be in DC at the Kennedy Center in "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" playing "Brick" opposite Mary Stuart Masterson as "Maggie."

I think Dollypop is planning to go. He may have more details... Perhaps everyone can rent a bus and take a whole contingent down. Patrick would probably get a kick out of that! LOL!!!!

OOOOH! I'm gonna be sooo jealous! My budget won't permit a field trip right now. Two requests:

I'll sure try!! My friend has some family down there, so if we go we're probably going to be able to stay with them, which thankfully will cut costs some. It's a bit of a trip, but I have a feeling it'll be worth it.

I saw another article about this reading in L.A.

Isn't there a Betty that Joe falls in love with? I don't see that her part has been cast yet for this benefit performance. (By coincidence, I just happen to be free that day...!)

Won't you even share a tidbit or two from the interview? What on earth is he doing after "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof"????

And, any pictures of him as "Raoul"????

ugh L.A.!! I am glad that he's back in theatre but that's waaayyy too far away! Luvtheemcee and I are def gonna try to catch him in DC though!

Had a friend check out the article in Show People. It sounds like a good interview but a month or so old (right after Phantom wrapped--late Jan?) No word about post-Cat On A Hot Tin Roof plans. :o(

Another Film? More Stage? TV-Reality Show?--heaven forbid!!!

She said the picture of him on the first page of the article is quite marvelous. Amazing eyes! :o)

Those of you in NYC-area where "Show People" is sold...Enjoy! (The rest of us will have to appreciate it "vicariously" LOL!)

And those of you who will be seeing him in L.A. and/or in D.C.--count your lucky stars!

What a gracious and kind offer, Dollypop. I truly appreciate your kindness. If she doesn't come through for me, I will let you know.

She's supposed to let me know this week if she can/will be able to do it. And, I'm practicing patience and not e-mailing her 'round the clock! (After all, your uncle, the Right Honorable Justice Carmine, had that nice chat with me about my "over-exhuberance", LOL LOL!)

I picked up a copy last night. Those pictures are gorgeous!!!!
I liked the article, but it had a certain air about it that is telling me that our Patrick is becoming a little bit too "Hollywood." Just the way they described some things about him (if you've read it you'll know what I mean) like the sunglasses, for example. I don't know, I just got that feeling from it.
Dolly was right, the rest of the magazine wasn't too exciting, except for a cute little thing about Jai Rodriguez. Though he did make some comments on the style (or lack thereof, apparently) of Norbert Leo Butz and my dear Adam Pascal, it was still a fun little thing.
