With the 4th of July almost upon us, I thought it would be fun to post those great patriotic songs from Broadway shows.
Who wants to start?
One can argue that "Do You Hear the People Sing?" is patriotic.

"Freedom" from Shenandoah
"Of Thee I Sing"
"The Egg'....or anything from "1776"
"Columbia the Gem of the Ocean" is in "The Music Man"

"This is a Great Counry" from MR. PRESIDENT
"Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor" from MISS LIBERTY
"You're a Grand old Flag" from GEORGE M. (Irving Berlin and George M. Cohan bled red, white and blue!)
There was an off broadway show done years ago called " How To Steal An Election" . There are probably a few contained there in but no idea where my LP is & it was never released on cd. There was also a show The Selling Of The President. The show closed almost immediately but there are probably songs in there plus in Mr President
What about What A Country from All American?
