Hi, I'm not sure if this has been asked befroe, but will Patti LuPone be extending past July 2nd?

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I wrote to her and she said that she hasn't signed to extend yet.

So does that mean that she might be extending? Sorry to be asking so many question, but I really want to go the week of July Eight, ( not 4th of July weekend, crazy) but I really want to see Patti one more time.

I have one other question: Well I would really like to go again to the Sweeney Todd for my birthday (on July 2nd) However, I would actually see the show on July 1st, and I would like to get second-row seats, (the closest to the stage on this date). However, that weekend is the weekend of Independence Day. I would take a bus to NYC, but the traffic and simply getting a bus would most likely be horrible. So I considered going the weekend before, but the closest I can get is Row M, which I don't want. I looked for JUly 8th, and I can get front row seats, but Patti LupOne might have left. So should I brave the traffic on the 4th of July weekend or risk Patti not being in the show and buy tickets for the eighth. What should I do??

She hasn't announced anything one way or another, but it is expected that she will extend.

I thought she was leaving July 2nd to come to Chicago for the Ravinia Festival and then, assuming she extends, she would return once that is finished. But, maybe not.
