If you write to her since she's on tour, will she get back? Would it be a safer bet to write somewhere she will be for several days? I was wondering because a have an Evita playbill that I would like to get signed and if I sent it and didn't get it back I would be sad? Sorry if this is too long. Thank You!
When I want Patti to sign something, I just bring it to one of her appearances and take flash photos of her until she leaps from the stage. Then, just as she's about to scream at me, I whip out a sharpie and say "Would you sign this for your biggest fan, Patti!?"
Joe...your avatar suddenly made me think of our BWW's "Margo Channing". I miss that wonderful person and hope he's alright. from RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

I once handed Patti an original London cast Les Miserables souvenir program to sign. She signed a big "P" on it, then said, "Wait a minute -- is this mine? 'Cause I don't sign the Broadway one!"
LOVE. HER.
My boyfriend later commented that somewhere out there, there's a Broadway souvenir program with a big silver "P" on it.
You might be better off using the address for both Patti and Mandy.

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.
