Her reaction was harmlessly cute. The Twitter comments are hilarious as it’s incredible how much people read into it negatively and viciously. She reacted quite refreshingly funny and with no ill intent. Not to me, at least.

The real story here is how well she takes it. From her, you expect a mini diva fit, but she laughs it off.
Anyone who sees it differently hated Patti to begin with.

Nice generalisation, actually if you knew anything about theatre overseas, you'd recognise David Campbell, a leading man of Australian theatre. The people 'behind the scenes' of the news show probably aren't well versed in theatre, because you know, thats not their job. Patti is a treasure and had a laugh, there's nothing more to pick apart.

I saw her at the Opera House on Saturday evening and she was breathtaking.
I love this interview. There was no diva behaviour during the concert - she seemed generous, warm and in wonderful spirits.
She does love the city though due to her great time playing in Evita in the 80s.
Bravo.
