I don't remember where I heard it, but I remember hearing a rumour Kline asked her not to say too much about him. And she agreed she wouldn't.
That said, I hope that isn't true. I'm curious, too. She always talks about how doing the premiere of THE WOODS made her realize she'd been lying to herself and she ended their relationship.... But why, huh?
I think I'm going to need to buy the audiobook and a copy. Because the audio book is going to be coocoo crazy bananas amazing and I've got a have a copy of the book to get it signed at an event. I can't wait
Without bread we'd just be hungry
but without theatre we'd be dead
Very excited this is coming out "soon." I wonder how much she'll be allowed to talk about the SUNSET situation. I think she was kept from talking about it due to the $$ settlement she received (which she jokingly said created the ALW pool & spa in her CT home). She's still got it. She's old school. and one of our last theatre STARS. Love her.
The best thing is that when new books are published BOOK TOURS are to follow!!
"I never had theatre producers run after me. Some people want to make more Broadway shows out of movies. But Elliot and I aren't going to do Batman: The Musical." - Julie Taymor 1999
I really want her to do the talk show circuit. Or at least go on, like, The Daily Show or Colbert Report.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

When Faye Dunaway was fired from the LA production of "Sunset Blvd" in 1994, legally she wasn't able to comment on the situation. In her autobiography, she put in the press release annoucement regarding the settlement with her and ALW. And, she added that she's legally bound to not speak of it.
Patti could be under the same legal deal. Time will tell.
