Patti Lupone references on GREEK

So, on tonight's episode of GREEK, there were a few Patti references.

In the beginning, two characters were watching a Broadway concert or something, and one of them said "Wait till you hear her sing 'Anything Goes'." Then the other one mentions something about Patti being a Broadway diva.

At the end, one of the characters said "Maybe one day I'll like Patti Lupone." Then another character said "Who doesn't like Patti Lupone? Have you seen her in 'Gypsy'?"

There were also Sound of Music and West Side Story references.
One character said "The house is alive with the sound of gossip." A few minutes later, another character said "I once played Maria in my high school production of 'West Side Story'!"

Just thought I would share that with you guys

this is my favorite show. i laughed when cappie said that about patti and gypsy.

I had never seen the show before and watched some of it tonight. Good timing for the Patti reference. Hilarious.

GREEK is one of my favorites! Yes, it's a teen/young adult show, but unlike the other ones out there, GREEK is clever and has the wittiest dialogue.

GREEK is filmed a few stages over from me at work. I have started watching now because I see everything. Definitely a guilty pleasure show... not bad though. Tivoed the latest episode so I need to watch.

wow I think Cappie just got hotter and more likable... didn't think that was possible. Yay Patti!
