With the LuPone/Arthur Laurents feud all patched up, do you think ten years from now Andrew Lloyd Webber will want to revive Sunset Blvd and patch things up with Patti? Critics said she was too young back then for Norma. Hey, you never know!

That would be AMAZING, but i highly doubt it. The Laurents/LuPone feud had nothign to do with money, and as we all know, money carries far more weight than a simple grudge. Even if LuPone wanted to reconciliate, I think ALW is too stubborn and probably still mad about doling out all that cash. But, hypothetically speaking, i would love to see LuPone as Norma Desmond. She is my favorite Norma, judging by the cast recordings. I wonder how one could reimagine Sunset Boulevard after the original production was so lavish. I definately don't wanna see Joe falling in the pool, banjo in tote.

I wanna to see her as Claire Zachanassian in THE VISIT.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I would love to see Patti reprise her role.
How great would it be if she were cast in the movie version of the musical?!
This of course will never happen b/c they probably won't ever make a movie version, but still I can dream.

I don't think Patti has any intention of trying to patch things up with ALW. I mean, Patti had to patch things up with Laurents to play a role in NYC she's wanted to play for ages. I doubt she feels the same way about Norma.

I don't anticipate any sort of reconciliation. Ever.

I think the falling out with ALW went much deeper than with Laurents.

Why, hello Margaret! Yes darling, half past five. Well, everyone, simply le tout Park Avenue and la creme de Hyannis! Well, the press table's going to be awfully crowded... but if you don't mind sharing a folding chair with Harper's Bazaar... Sing? Me? Heavens no, it's Edie's day, not mine... Although people can be so insistent, and I hate to disappoint. Twist my arm, blackmail me, threaten my very life, and who knows? You might get a verse of something...

She got a great pool out of the deal though.

I highly doubt Patti would ever reconcile with Webber. She's Italian after all...
