"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D
I'm 16..and I do get odd looks when I quote Sondheim randomly, but other than that, people are pretty accepting. And I absolutely despise being disregarded for being young (maybe you should listen to us rather than dismiss us...train the new generation...). Well, c'est la vie.
I am 16 gooooooing on 17. I'm 17 in 3 months! AHHHHHHHH! So happy! So happy! I couldn't be happier. 3 semesters away from leaving high school! *hops around*
I myself am fifteen years of age, though people tell me I often don't seem my age. (I'm still trying to figure out exactly what they mean by this lol) The community I live in is extremely sports oriented, and everyone thinks that if it doesn't have to do with sports it is stupid. Many of my neighborhood "friends" frequently make fun of my choices in music and cringe to think that I would rather save my money to go see a show than chip in for a keg and get drunk on the beach. Some of them have even gone so far as to throw one of my favorite CDs into the bay. Even the adults are taken aback when they find how I spend my free time and what sort of music I listen to. Ah well, only a few more years before college, and then I can leave this miserable town...Until then, that's what posting on this board is for!
Hong Kong is very nice place to visit in, but not a nice place to live in.... crowded.... boring... and the worse is NO MUSICALS for ages!!!! The last musical we've got is....
