I'm 15. On a side note, how many of the teens here have friends who like musicals. Whenever someone asks what I'm listening to, etc. and I tell them a musical, they sort of cringe. Maybe it's me.

When I was a teen, I had lots of friends who listened to musicals--from choir and theatre at school. I'm guessing that some of you don't have that resource at your school?

jrb - you're right, I do go to a small school that has never put on a musical and just put on it's fourth play. I'll just have to cope for now.

broadwaygeek- yeah all my friends think im a wee bit weird since I love musicals and stuff. They are like: why don't you listen to normal music? and I just say that musicals are normal to me! the only person I can really talk about musicals to is my brother's girlfriend. She is 18 she also likes musicals.

I currently own a breathtaking collection of seventeen marvelous years starring me. Come April, I will have launched myself into that prestiged world of legal adulthood. Yippee. Yeah right. I can sympathize with a lot of you who have unapproving friends. I had that for the longest time, until this year. I have transferred into a Performing Arts magnet program. I no longer have that problem. Our school puts on two musicals and two plays a year as well as vocal and dance concerts. Sweet Wounded Jesus! I really feel for you pitiful less fortunate ones.
