Agreed, Tribes is definitely worth seeing and Susan Pourfar is quite brilliant in the show. As an audiologist, I could relate perhaps on a different level, but I think most people can relate on the general themes of language and communication.

I found it to be an over-rated over touted snooze fest.
Did not see what was so fascinating about this play.

I was just looking into getting tickets, visited their website, and it says that Saturday, November 10th is another open-captioned performance.

Can't believe I waited to go and I'm going to miss Mare! Ugh. Was she particularly amazing? Hopefully her replacement is good. I guess I'm going to have to hustle and go before 9/23 to see Susan Pourfar!

I saw the matinee yesterday and I would just like to add my praise. I haven't been to Barrow Street since the magnificent revival of Our Town, so my expectations were high. Tribes is an absolutely compelling production and the best new play I've seen in a while.
