I agree, Julie Andrews in My Fair Lady was the first thought I had (then again, we wouldn't have her amazing performance as Mary Poppins if that were the case...)
Perhaps an odd choice but Larry Kert in West Side Story. When I hear his "Maria" or anything on the OBCR, I just...go weak. I would have loved to see his Tony. Besides, it ended up being pretty disastrous in the film anyway...
