Just read Patti LuPone's comments about how wonderful it was to work on this production, blah blah blah. Positively orgasmic rapture.

Ha! I thought Patrick Dennis was dead!
Hey, they might want to consider doing Mame. Just think of what they could do to "The Man in the Moon is a Lady" number.
PEACE.

Not only is it satire, but he's using the the same title that Jonathan Swift, (one of history's greatest satirists) used, "A Modest Proposal to Parliament" in describing his solution for dealing with children in England... (Eating them!)

After that thread about color blind casting a while back, I wonder what those against it would think if this were real?

Wonder if they'd let the Phantom still wear a mask...? :)

Guys.. It's a satire.. Ya know.. He's saying that John Doyle sucks and that he's lame...

Satire...

Say it again

Satire...

Good.

Yes, I know that.
I was just pointing out that for some unknown reason, Patti LuPone is praising this production to high heaven. Have to wonder about her "judgment". re: Peter Filichia's New Column: A Modest Proposal

Well, all I gotta say is thank god someone is thinking of the color blind audience members.

Finally.
