It means they are on vacation right now. It's not playing anywhere.

It's a tour. LAYOFF weeks are those in which they do not perform. Either traveling or vacation.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Speaking of Peter Pan (and sorry to threadjack, but it appears the question has been answered), did anyone happen to attend its final NY performance? Seeing as how this was the last time Rigby would be performing the role in NY ( re: Peter Pan ?? ), I was wondering if they did anything special.

Nope, just did the show normally.

Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but there is an video/DVD of a production with Cathy Rigby that was filmed for A&E.

Thanks, Broadway_Boy.

ByMySide25, I'm aware of the DVD. What does that have to do with either the original question asked, or the question I asked?

The production of the show with Cathy Rigby available on DVD is different than the one touring now. New cast, minus Rigby as Peter. Same set. Same staging. However, the script was changed and several new things are included.

The song "Wendy" has been cut to work as a segway into "I Won't Grow Up."

After Wendy, John, Michael, and the Lost Boys sing the "We Will Grow Up" song, and they all exit, Peter arrives to the window.

Many other changes I am forgetting. Essentially the same show, though.

Sorry, I didn't understand the question. CapnHook thanks for clearing everything up.
