Peter Pan- ANY INFORMATION

I wanted to find out more information about the musical theater version of Peter Pan... I am mostly inquiring about the role of Tiger Lily, how big her part is & if she sings at all [and other Native American roles].
All in all, any information ANYTHING & EVERYTHING would be helpful, because I really don't know anything about the show or the characters, except for my knowledge with the Disney version, Finding Neverland... just general knowledge
[I will be googleling it... so I will be also doing my own research too.]

hey, yes tiger lilly sings if i remember correctly. she sings with peter at one point when they share the peace pipe as do the rest of the indians. hope i helped in some way.

peace pipe? that's old school peter pan and rather offensive as well. get the Cathy Rigby DVD. Tiger Lilly and the gang are portrayed in a much more authentic Native American style that is less offensive than the original came to be, and also ends up being one of the highlights of the production as the song "Ugh-A-Wug" is transformed into a huge dance spectacle with drums and a stick dance...

actually, the peace pipe is still in it Peter Pan. Cutting or changing it without permission is illegal. And how is "ug-a-wug" any different that smoking a peace pipe? It's not, they're both comically rediculous.

Tiger Lily is the third largest female role- Peter being the biggest, and Wendy being the second largest. Mrs. Darling speaks more than Tiger Lily, but I'd say Tiger Lily has a larger part. Updated On: 5/1/05 at 07:30 PM
