Phantom 2 - possible casting

Posted: 2/7/09 at 10:43am

I'm surprised there isn't a thread of the WE Board about the rumoured casting of Sierra Boggess and Ramin whatshisname in Phantom 2. What does everyone think of the casting? Will this be the Adelphi cast, or the New York cast, or half of each?

I don't think anyone is really that interested to be honest

I'd have thought Ramin too young, and I was almost certain that Howard McGillin would have been the phantom, eother in NYC or the West End.

Glad I'm not the only one. True the idea of a musical sequel sounds a bit crazy, but we never know - ALW may surprise us. Anything that brings Sierra Boggess to London is fine by me :)

Probably so TLM fangirls will get their parents to take them to see Ariel in Phantom.

She does a surprisingly beautiful soprano (something I understand isn't really utilised in TLM): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euc5DR7a7e4
