The uploader of this video explains in the description exactly where this comes from... a news segment interview with Sondheim, discussing "Send In The Clowns" in particular, shortly after the show had opened.
Since the uploader was able to access the raw audio and video footage, it sadly seems there isn't anything else available.
What I find most amusing/interesting is Glynis Johns' film and television instincts kicking in, and her looking directly into the camera for a moment, then catching herself and quickly looking away. (She was probably directed to ignore the camera and not play to it while this was being filmed).
