Phantom of the Opera August 27th?

I am going to be in NYC on the 27th of August, and I wanted to see phantom. Why is that date not available on telecharge? telecharge has nothing for phantom from the 24th thru the 27th. Is there something going on where phantom is not running those days?

if no one knows why, does anyone know where I would go to find out if I can get tickets for that date?

I just checked with common sense and he basically said:

I don't know for a fact and it's a complete guess, but a couple of months ago I belive the London production closed for four days so they could update the sound design/machinery. It's been 20 years, maybe they're doing it on Broadway now?

But I have no idea, sorry I can't help otherwise.

Checking the PTO web site, there are no performances from Aug 25 through the 27. No reason given,

Tele-charge never knows the answer to those kinds of questions.
