Well, it might turn out all right. I can't say I think so, as Schumacher's work (Falling Down, Batman Forever, Batman And Robin, the unspeakable 8MM, The Client, and Flawless among others) is just so generally pathetic and awful that the idea of seeing anything he does ever again makes me nauseous. So he's an old hippy who got forced into making crappy movies. Yeah, right. Let's see the picture of him with a gun to his head being forced to make those two foul Batman movies. Yeah, it was studio pressure that made him put nipples on the Batman costume. Feh.

And for the record, I don't think Chicago worked at all on film, either. The only thing worse than Phantom directed by Joel Schumacher would be Phantom directed by Rob Marshall.

Wow- you didnt like Chicago the movie? I enjoyed it more than the stage production.. I actually understood what was going on!

Falling Down is one of my all time favorite movies; it's a great social commentary.
