Anyone mind if we just get back to the topic?... or at least back to the general subject of the show.
Oh, that was pretty much what I was asking you. Also, would you be a fan of The Pirate Queen or paid any attention to it, if Stephanie wasn't involved in it? Muscle - I learned about this show the day Stephanie auditioned (way back in late 2005) and I've been keeping up with it ever since I found out she was cast. She does play a huge part in why I first got interested (I'm not naturally drawn to Irish history or all things pirate) but the more I learned about the actual story the more interested I got in the play itself.
I followed castcom, which in turn made me more excited to go to Chicago, which then got me reading the reviews, which then sparked my curiousity to follow the changes, which then got me anxious to see how it was going to be received in NY... so my interest in the show is more of the fact that PQ is the first show I've followed so closely, and for such a length of time.
Would all that have happened had Stephanie not been involved in the show? I think eventually yes (as I've been starting to keep up with the Legally Blonde videos and am slowly getting interested in that too) but she was definitely the main reason I started supporting and following PQ from so early on. I was, and still am, so happy that she finally got to originate a leading role on broadway.
