I saw Lucie on her opening night and she was wonderful! That is indeed the costume she wears towards the end of the show. I think the rest of the costumes she wears are the same as Joanna's.

a possibility we're overlooking, didn't lucie join the cast a week earlier than expected? the costumes not ready theory is holding strong until someone can confirm otherwise

Jonart, that is what I believe also. It just doesn't seem possible to put Muriel in jeans at the end of the show. We'll probably know more next week when the costumes will be possbily ready.

Actually, when Joanna was in, she wore jeans at the end. But had a light colored jacket over her green top.

I'm writing to confirm what Dre said. Joanna was wearing jeans with a green shirt, long coat and sneakers...either light blue or orange. (For some reason I have a memory of both, even though I've only seen the show once)

Saw the show last night, and that costume is still definitely in the show. I actually thought when she came onstage "Did Joanna wear that?" Then I remember, after the post above, yes, she was in a different costume, with jeans and sneakers.

I wasn't a huge fan of Ms. Arnaz, but found Rachel York to be exquisite. Loved loved loved her take on Christine Colgate.

I saw the show on Tuesday for the first time, and the costume didn't bother me. I don't see what about it was so out of character for Muriel...especially the way Ms. Arnaz played her.

I really enjoyed Rachel as Muriel, didn't think I was going to, but REALLY did. I'm still not diggin' Lucie's last costume, hope that's just temporary. However, I did not like Rachel York in the role of Christine, I didn't think her singing voice suited the character.

I liked Rachel York as Christine, but I felt she played the character more "stupid" as opposed to Sherie Renee Scott playing her more naive than stupid.

Muriel's supposed to have so much money that traveling around Europe with her Louis Vuitton bags is no big deal for her. Jeans are OK (some designer jeans can run over $700) but that top looks like it came out of a bargain basement or second hand junk shop in the village.

PLEASE folks - put her in something classier!

Yes, Joanna wore some very nice jeans and aqua Pumas in the finale, but that just cant compare to this ugly, trashy ****y they have Lucie in. I bhope it changes, and fast!

Well, sue me, but I happen to like the top, and I don't think it goes against the character either.

But maybe that's just me. :)

I saw the show last night, and I really like Lucie. It was my first time seeing it, so I can't compare her to Joanna or Rachel... but still loved her portrayal of Muriel. And yes, she was still wearing that outfit at the end.
Rachel York's Christine was good too, as well Jonathan and Gregory, and I absolutley loved Norbert.
I was laughing in my seat the entire show. :)
