I heard rave reviews from this concert. They said, her best to date. I saw the uploaded segment of Lady Gaga's Pokerface. Wow, Lea did an awesome job! Thanks for the article.

Glad to be home for the holidays to catch this one! Very entertaining evening indeed. I think YOUR SONGS is a close second to Lea's Carnegie Hall solo concert back in November 2005.

I never thought I'd live to see the day Ai Ai delas Alas's name would get mentioned on broadwayworld.com! Thanks for the write up.

By the way, did the set list change from the first night to the second night? Or did Lea do the same material both nights?

I guess it's the same set.

They only had to edit down songs after the technical dress rehearsal on Thurs night.

She's got such a wonderful instrument. Good seeing her always performing live and perhaps NYC can lure her to Broadway sometime in the near future.

It's a welcome change hearing a well-trained, bell-clear voice singing interesting things.

Aside from Allegiance, Ms. Salonga also confirmed a cabaret show at the Cafe Carlyle in the Carlyle Hotel, New York in March, 2010.

Going back to "Your Songs" concert, someone uploaded in YT her singing "Defying Gravity". The last time I saw her perform this song was at her Carnegie concert. She nailed the song! What an awesome performance! I wish they could tour this in the US.

Lea's notes rocked in this clip and when I saw her on the 11th, I think more so than at Carnegie Hall.

I was surpised at how well she sang Defying Gravity. I would like to see her play the role at some time. She is 38, thats how old Julia Murney and Ana Gasteyer were when they did the role, so here's to hoping!

She can play Elphie regardless of age. She's quite young looking. If not, I hope she is cast as Fantine in the Les Miz musical movie.

I've been able to see two of Lea's performances so far and both times she was stellar. The first time I saw her, she didn't sing many theater classics or any Disney but this last time...wow! Les Miz, Miss Saigon and Disney, I was in heaven!
