He makes a handsome drag king.
I have more of a problem dealing with his age/size onstage rather than his ethnicity.
He looks older than I thought he was. Maybe he'll blow us all away. Or maybe I was just thinking of the wrong kid before....
He and Marcy Harriell are going to play an awkward couple. Other than that, not bad. I'm trying not to judge before I see him but hopefully he'll surprise everyone.
He doesn't look very Latino. A little Latina, though.

What Pgenre said. (just the 1st sentence)
I agree with both sentences.

Well. I'd heard he was joining the cast, but never read about it... I assumed he was replacing Christopher Jackson. Now knowing he's playing Usnavi makes me chuckle a bit.
Is it just me or does it look like he was photoshopped into every single picture?
Rocks, I was thinking the same thing!
I think he can pull off being latino, but him & Marcy just look so awkward together. Hoping someone new gets cast as Vanessa soon because I don't buy that relationship on looks alone.
Guys, just see the guy. You are all judging how old or young or black he looks or whatever. You are judging it by some press photos. Before you say anything you should see him, I'm personally very excited.

How can you say he doesn't look Latino? Isn't Sammy Sosa from the Dominican Republic?
I mean Sammy Sosa BEFORE his recent skin-lightening.
Sammy Sosa is from the DR. Saw Corbin in person at AMC theatres on 42nd street and hes light skinned, plus his love interest of HSM was older than he is. Hes such a nice guy, seemed happy posing for pictures and signing autographs. Corbins mother is Italian and father is Jamacian.

He always strikes me as kind of adorable and beatific, like an optimistic puppy on a utopian propaganda poster. He definitely has that going on in some of these pictures.
I got that feeling too, Craww.
Personally, I have nothing against Corbin looks or age wise.

What's wrong with his size?
I am planning on making a 3rd trip to the show to see him (and see Janet as Nina!). I think he looks good and he is a talented guy, in my opinion.

I don't get the whole age problem. Isn't Usnavi only 21ish?

I guess some folks here think Marcy Harriel looks too old for Corbin.

Well that's Marcy's problem, not Corbin's.

I wonder if Javier Munoz will still get paid during Corbin's run. Or if he's coming back to do the role.

Okay, I just looked up Lin-Manuel Miranda's age and he just turned 30...I was thinking he was pushing 40!
I wonder if Javier Munoz will still get paid suring Corbin's run.
Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but... why would he?
Saw this on Racialicious... thought of BWW.
