"She looks abit... Old! remembering Elphaba is only 18th throughout the whole of Act 1, and only 24 at the start of Act 2, but I personally feel Broadway has not once had an Elphaba that looks age appropriate!"
Since when was a time gap officially determined? I didn't think the writers had said anything and every time I see the show I never feel as though that many years have passed. Perhaps you are going off the novel? Of course, it could just be me though. I haven't been keeping on top of the show lately.

Posted: 4/6/10 at 6:40pmMusicman1211, i BELIEVE it was in The Grimmerie (though it may have been elsewhere) where it says there is a 6 year time gap between the first 2 acts, however, I think it feels more like 6 weeks when watching it, however, that would place Elphaba at still being 18/19 (college/Uni age) when she is the fully established Wicked Witch!

Posted: 4/7/10 at 7:25pmThe novel establishes a much longer period of time passing between the time she leaves Glinda and appears to Nessa than the musical does. The musical is ambiguous about it.
