I agree it has a lot of potential. I only mentioned Roundabout because someone brought it up in another thread that it was picked up by them.
The NY Times article was good, but I can't see this Pippin be an open end run on Broadway. I don't know, it just wasn't the best production I've seen of Pippin.
I don't think it will even extend in LA.

Did BWW ever post the third part of their Pippin reheasal video footage?
I saw Pippin twice and while the actors were all good, the show itself was not so good. It was almost half empty both times I went. I've seen Pippin done before and have loved it. I just don't think it works with two Pippins.
There's been no announcement if Pippin is going to Broadway. Isn't it usually announced during the run if a show is going to transfer?
