I saw Madonna getting out of her limo at Taboo last night--and yes the Big M. sure did cause a commotion!

Anyone else see her?

I saw Karen Ziemba entering her theatre last night and some man who was carrying something told her to move out of the F****** way....

Yes, quite the opposite of the UNBRIDLED HYSTERIA outside Taboo last night the minute the most famous female entertainer of the last 25 years poked her head of the car!

I can't believe that the woman was just blocks away from me! I'm extremely calm and cool around celebs--but I have a feeling I might pass out if I see her. lol =)

Rosie in fact talks of how she has seen people, when introduced to Madonna or who see Madonna on the street, who just burst into tears...who shake....who can't talk...

I've never reacted that way to any celeb, in any situation...but meeting Madonna would scare the living hell out of me!

Years ago I met her at her Sex book party, she was shockingly nice, but ever so small. She's like a tiny firecracker...

She was 2 rows right in back from me and seemed to have a good time. I will say there were some rude people at the theater last night who whipped out their cell phone cameras and were trying to grab snapshots. I don't know why I found it tacky.. I just did

Why do I always think of Orfeh when I see Madonna? She(Orfeh), must get that alot. I will applaud her for not going to opening night and stealing all the thunder. That was the right thing for Madonna to do.

I did see Madonna at an art show some years ago. And sheekala is right, she is VERY tiny. If you didn't know it was her you wouldn't have thought twice about her.

Very differnt was Barbras appearance at the shows opening night with Donna Karan. She arrived in a HUGE black floppy hat and sunglasses (yes, dear, we know...you're incognito, right?) in a blaze of flashbulbs. And she made some noises to Donna like "OH, the photographers! I can't go ANYWHERE without them!" - or something similar that might make you assume she hated it. Wrong. She was loving every minute of it.

Actually her going last night meant an unexpected day of free publicity for the Show...

..and great supportive publicity for Rosie..

...It made the cover of the news today afterall...

You know, I know I'll get tomatoes thrown at me, (or worse), but I can't say Madonna excites me that much. I'd probably say "hi" and shrug. Sorry...She just doesn't do much for me.

I'm with you. She used to excite me. When she pushed sexuality in Reagan/Bush's America and got all Sapphic when it wasn't chic to do so. Now, I too would shrug and say, "I faithfully bought all your cds. Can I at least get a thank you?"
