Piazza tour - chances of Clark?- Page 2

Piazza has been on TDF, plus, when the show started, I believe every cast member was on a LORT contract, meaning, not as much money. However, when a show runs for a while on a LORT contract
(LCT and Roundabout are the two that have LORT contracts), they must switch to a production contract.

She will not go on the tour. The tour will be run by NETWorks. Most of their tours are non-equity. As an equity member, she will not be able to do the tour.

the other day while listening to ragtime, i started to picture marin mazzie as mother. while i don't know if she would tour with it, i would love to see her play the role at some point in time.

Why would they make the first national tour of Piazza - a big tony winning musical - non-equity? It makes no sense.

according to the casting notices, its an equity production

Marin Mazzie WAS Mother in the OBC of Ragtime.

perhaps he meant the mother in Light in the Piazza?
