Trying this again.
And no, it's not being picketed by fans of non-crappy theatre!

I laughed out loud when I first read the headline, thinking people were picketing the opening of yet another horrid show.
Also, if I had a part in the creation of this show, I would not really want anyone to know about it...

Another opening, another protest.

I thought the same thing, too.
What are they picketing for? crimes against musical comedy?
RTFA!
I thought that just because it looks bad doesn't mean it should be picketed... crazy
Who the hell cares?

Because it's HILARIOUS!!
They escorted the lone protester off the premises!?!? How did this even make the news?

It's gonna be outrageous, contagious.
The comments at the LA Times site are generally on the positive side.
Also, the protest is planned for the show's opening (July 31?). Maybe there will be more one person picketing.
But what does this say about the producers of the show? Frankly, do they have any kind of track record? Shouldn't they be held accountable for the overall creative decisions? Signing HDH early on seems to have been pivotal and may be their downfall.

It's all about publicity. Who cares why you're in the paper, as long as they spell the name right.
