The word "illegal" no longer applies to anything relating to Carrie: The Musical. Every theater fan has at least one copy or source to see the show.

I seriously doubt that--the novel wasn't a Japanese novel (and in fact many Japanese people had issue with the miniseries based on it if not the novel) and didn't it only run 50 performances? I dunno--Japanese tourists LOVEBroadway musicals its true but I just don't see a huge rush for them to go to one based on a complex British (?) novel based on their culture

Yes, Carrie is actually all over the place now. It's just that it's not everyday that someone posts the soundboard recording online for free!
