There are a few flop musicals I can't even find press photos from and I'd love to get a feel of what they looked like. Does anyone knwo of photos from:

Shogun! It just sounds so elaborate--I'd love to see some of it

Raggedy Ann! This show fascinates me--a mixture of way too shildlike melodies and basic stories, with a freudian sexual molestor of a badguy, images like her mom hanging ina dream world from a tree and a "holocaustal mass grave"-

I swear...I must have seen a production of that. What year was it first done?

What was GOOD VIBRATIONS? That was a flop right? Was that even on broadway. I saw it on TV but I heard it closed in like a week.

You must be mistaken. GOOD VIBRATIONS was a huge hit. It won 6 Tonys, including Best Musical.

One of my greatest Broadway experiences!

GOOD VIBRATIONS is also being made into a film. Principal photography begins this fall. Casting is still going on. Only Justin Timberlake and Ashlee Simpson are the first ones confirmed for the film.

Speaking of "Carrie," does anyone have any pictures from this? I've seen some really small ones, but they are all Linzi and Betty doing "Eve was Weak" or one of the prayers, or just Linzi w/flames in hands. The biggest I can find in the Act 1 finale with Linzi DS holdinf flames and Betty US in the chair watching through the smoke coming up from the floor. I know there was a program, so why hasn't anybody thought to share some of its images with the rest of us?

Oh Jesus!

I'm so sick of that kind of comment. The show has been closed forever. I understand maintaining the integrity of the board, but I swear some people just get off on telling people they can't do things.

Carrie you can get a good idea of what it looked like from youtube. No Raggedy Ann yet re: Pictures from these infamous Flops? (Shogun! Raggedy Ann! etc)

I always wondered what pictures were in the broadway program of "Carrie". I've seen the Stratford program which is well...
stupid. The only pictures I've seen were on a few fansites. I heard there was a big photo gallery on the unofficial site but it's no longer there. I saw one picture for sale on ebay with Charlotte during "Do Me A Favor" that I had not seen before, but I wasn't paying $25 for a picture. If anyone has pics, post them!

I've seen thos vids, which are great, but I'm looking for something that might actually let me see their faces.

"...i can get some grabs of there if you like."

That would be awesome! If you're worried about any of those messy legal/illegal things, just email them. If not...

To anyone who can: Bring on the "Carrie"! (Am I being sublte about my inexplicable love for this show?)

Shogun? Is that a Pacific Overtures ripoff?

That comment was ignorant. Just because it takes place in Japan doesn't mean it's necessarily a ripoff.

Coolkid-
I ask you, how is that ignorant? There is a shogun character in Pacific Overtures. I was merely making a comparison. I used the word ripoff. Big deal.

I know it's wrong to mention this on the board but PM me if you'd like a link to some "Carrie" music. I'm so happy I found some!

Shogun is based on a novel. It was, as memory serves, mainly kept alive by Japanese Tourism.
