Saw it today & thought it far superior to Doubt
Watched from restaurant next door - (Bolzano's) great - & watched as Jeff G signed every Playbill handed to him & posed for pictures until all were gone. Some people celebrating by a big picture window called him over to celebrate ( he did not know them from adam ) & he came over & had a drink with them.
I than asked him to sign our Playbill & told him that Pillowman was much better than Doubt & he greatly appreciated the sentiment. Quite a gentleman
See it before it closes as it is one of the great theatrical experiences of your life

And how. I'm seeing it again on Saturday! I still think it's ridiculous that they're closing it.

I saw this show last week and it was absolutely the most thrilling theatrical experience I've ever had.
Many people left in the middle of act one because of how shocking it is.
I loved it, though. Absolutely. I enjoyed it much more than Doubt.
I loved the show very much.

why are they closing? cause they realize that they cant replace the originals, so they wont even try....or, since theyve reached the recoup point, they dont wanna go any further.
it could be like movin out, which is closing for no apparent reason except that disney wants the richard rodgers.
OMG I wanna see this soooo bad.. but I cant. the Pillowman should come to me... not me come to the pillowman!
Can we PLEASE stop with the Doubt comparisons?
It is fair to be compared to Doubt as both were up for a Best Play Tony. Pillowman should have won but didn't. Thems the breaks. It was not the first time the best show did not win & will not be the last

Just wanted to say that I saw the show this weekend and it was amazing. The acting was great and the material was interesting. Plus, at the stage door all of the four leads stayed and took pictures until everyone left and they were all up to have a conversation. They were just so genuinely nice. It was just a great experience in all ways. But I do understand why it's closing. I asked Billy after the show if he was said that it was closing and he said that he was just really tired and wanted sleep. What a draining show to do. But I was just so impressed. Ok sorry for rambling but I don't think that Pillowman has gotten enough credit for how great it really is.

I believe that a tour is already in the works.
I'm planning on seeing it twice more before it closes, including the closing performance, which I already have tickets to. I'm really sad to see this theatrical masterpiece go.
