Pippin Video Up! — Page 2

I saw Pippin last night at Reprise! in Los Angeles, and it was GREAT! I thought it was wonderfully cast. I've never seen the show before, and I LOVED Sam Harris as the leading player (can't really imagine Rosie O'Donnell in the part as shown on the video). Michael Arden was perfect...and the cast of players were sexy and hot!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm hearing excellent things. The way our benefit concert was cast (mostly as a fun tool to attract more performers, and thus, more audience) was to have multiple leading players, so each of the Leading Player's songs was performed by a different star, culminating with Ben Vereen, who won a Tony for the role originally. We were thrilled to have Rosie be a part of it-she's truly an entertainer, and that's what the role requires at that point of the show in particular.
