This is great!
I hope this is a sign that there will be an official release of the performance. (But I doubt it.)

Its not working for me
.
While a full video release would be amazing, it has been said numerous times that its not happening.

I really liked it except for the whole "Carry the book" thing. I know they didn't have a lot rehearsals but just from that little montage, I could tell that it would have been better if they did not have the books. But, everyone looked great.

Does anyone know if they're planning on making a cast recording of it, like they're doing with the HAIR concert?

I don't care what anyone says, they must release it as a cast recording, and put it on DVD. Michael Arden is a musical theatre god. Darius de Haas and Billy Porter are magnifique. Someone put it on disc.
Sidenote: What other stuff have those three recorded? And was the Children of Eden thing put on CD?

Ooh, I have that. I just got it this weekend and haven't had chance to listen properly. Great! What about de Haas and Arden?

edited: Looks EXCELLENT! Don't know if I'd cast Rosie, I always imagined a female LP with more sex appeal and charm but looks like hse pulled it off. (Who IS KATE SHINDLE? SHE LOOKED FABULOUS!) The cast looks FABULOUS and it looks like the 5LP thing worked. Oh and to the person who posted below me, Johnny T was basically a featured ensemble member.

Hey there,
I'm glad you all like the video that Ira put together. He's really fantastic at what he does.
As of right now, there is no plan on doing a cast recording or a video release. SORRY!
So in the meantime, we're considering what show to do this year...any ideas?
Love, Jamie

Great video! That was such an amazing concert. Sorry I wasn't more talkative at the afterparty, Jamie. Let's see...this year? I assume you'd be thinking of more of an ensemble piece?

Is there a downloadable video anywhere? The streaming file doesn't seem to like my computer very much.

I was Leading Player in a production of PIppin a few months ago, and that video is such a testament to the show. It looked incredible; I really wish I could've been there. COngratulations to everyone involved. Long live that show.
