First, stop showing the friggen audience. Nobody cares that people are singing along and dancing. We wanna see the performers. Second, what's with cutting out half of each song? Very dissapointed that they did it for Hairspray, especially because I love Chester. They cut out Jennifer's whole part in "For Good"! I don't like Idina very much. I wanted to hear JLT and I heard about 5 seconds of her! I barely got to hear Hunter sing either! Uhg...
Sutton Foster sang beautifully but that doesnt compensate for all the stuff I wanted to see that they've cut out- just so far. It's not even over yet.... -Penny

I thought this show started at 7:30...I'm so pissed I missed most of it. Especially Sutton.

Yet they showed all of CCR singing. Uhg... Sorry to say I did not to enjoy her. I'm a Susan Egan and Kerry fan (and Brooke fan She'll be amazing.). Wayne was good, I love him on Who's Line. Overall, a VERY dissapointing show... -Penny

Don't worry about missing a lot of it. The only good performances were Little Women, Avenue Q, The Producers, Chicago, Hairspray, and Eden. I might have missed something, but there wasn't a whole lot to love, and the cutting was insane, but necessary to have it fit into an hour. I'm just thankful it was aired at all.

That was the worst Broadway on Broadway ever.

The only numbers I liked were: Dracula, Phantom, Producers, and Little Women.

I am glad I did not go this year. From the televised version, I would not have liked it. Very few songs were done well.

the telecast was lousy -- but keep in mind that was WNBC who did the editing -- however there is no amount of editing that cold have made up for the horrific CCR -- the Belle has cracked...FOR GOOD (For you wicked fans)

I was VERY upset with their broadcast. The cut great songs *cough WHAT YOU OWN cough* *cough ALL I ASK OF YOU cough*, and they kept showing the audience, and it made me want to throw something at the TV.

And the finale wasn't "spectacular" because only 20 seconds of it was shown. Yuck.

Question: If you're on Broadway your voice shouldn't be raspy b/c of just one song, right?

Then why the hell can't CCR keep her voice from becoming raspy. God she only had to sing one song and then the beginning of the Finale!

I was SO MAD they didn't show the full song. How do you just completely chop off an entire verse/chorus. I wanted to hear how JLT sounded soooo badly and it went straight to Idina. I LOVE Idina, but damn. That sucks.

Speaking of sucks...I wanted to see all of Ave Q's stuff too! You think they'd show the entire Tony winning musical's performance. Did they show all of Wayne and CCR's performances? And is that just because they hosted? Because that is not cool.

I hate Idina and the stupid editors at Brdway on Brdway, and the fact that they showed all of Wayne Brady and CCR, just b/c they are TV personalities...ahhh (I dont really hate Idina, I'm just sad...)

Hahahaha Christy Carlson Romano was a NIGHTMARE. I was laughing my butt off through the entire song. It was like a bad American Idol audition.

All of the cutting was awful. Show us the performances- do we really need to see BD Wong saying "hoobastank" over and over??

i'm mad at myself... I wasn't gonna be home, so I put in a tape to record it... Stupid me, I forget that I have to turn the volume up cuz on my tv if the volume isn't up, it records with no sound. So I have the show with no sound! So smart ain't i?
