Pretty much the whole story on the reasons for the production delays and Stachel's departure (although he hasn't been talking to the press):

We can only conjecture whether the show would have been able to start in 2020 without the behind-the-scenes drama.

OMG! GASP! HOW DARE HE?  There are two threads about JLP and two threads about Mezzo Soprano Belter Songs. Big deal there are two threads about The Visitor.  The world will survive! :)

The two Jagged threads are not the same... the first was created when the reopening date was announced, casting was revealed, controversies started arising, etc. The more recent one is the official reopening night thread we have seen for all other shows that have reopened following the shutdown. Here you will probably see live performance thoughts and reactions, unlike the other one.
