I pre-ordered my 2 copies about 4 months ago on Amazon. Right now it's showing that it will ship out in 2-4 weeks.

I wonder what's taking so long?

I was expecting my copy a month ago but also got a note that it won't be out until very late October at the earliest.

I e-mailed Playbill regarding the release date and here is what they told me:
"... unfortunately the release has been delayed, no orders will ship out until the week of November 2nd. As the book was being prepared to go to press it was discovered that several files had been corrupted and had to be reconstructed, which took almost two weeks, thus the later release date. Your order will ship just as soon as we have the books in hand."

Got an email from Amazon.com, saying that the book is now expected to be shipped at the end of November.

I e-mailed Playbill again and they told me that the book is completed and is on the way to their warehouses now. It is expected to ship out on Monday.

Glad you got it! Where did you order it from? My order on Amazon still says "estimated ship date of 11/30 - 12/15."

I ordered mine from Playbill Store and they shipped it last Thursday. I hope you get yours soon. Maybe Amazon will ship it sooner.

Barnes and Noble sent me an e-mail today saying it wouldn't ship until Dec. 2.

I'm canceling my Barnes and Noble order, and getting it from Playbill.

EDIT: It won't let me cancel, because it is 'in the process of shipping.' My account says it hasn't been shipped, though. This is annoying! Updated On: 11/22/09 at 06:45 AM

I got my Playbill Yearbooks yesterday - Friday, November 26th. It's about frickin time! I always order 2 - one for me, and the other is for a friend of mine for Christmas.
