Having amassed many playbills some collectible and some autographed over the years I wish to preserve as many as possible. When recently at the flea market in New York City I noticed many of the vendors playbills for sale were encased in a plastic protector which folded over and sealed.(no cardboard backing unfortunately ) I am looking to purchase some of these but have no clue where to find them online or in stores. I found some Avery sheet protectors 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 which are open at the top and do not fold over as a substitute for now but I am really looking for these clear fold over sealable protectors. Can anybody help me with this information?I already own a playbill binder with their inserts but these are very expensive to buy with a large collection such as mine.

As someone who has a collection of well over 3,000 Playbills, dating back to the early 60' s, let me advise that the sooner you get them into air tight packets, the better. My earliest Playbills are crumbling because the the acid in the paper.
Just a word of advice.
Don't know if they seal....

They have many different sizes, so I use them for my Playbills as well as my souvenir programs that come in various sizes.
There are also options there for the different materials the sleeves are made of, depending on how much protection you want.
They also sell the cardboard inserts (separately)

Those bags and the cardboard inside them are made for comic books. Any comic book store will have them or Amazon

I'm also looking to get some, as my playbills mean a lot to me. When buying the bags, do you HAVE to get the acid-free backing to stop yellowing, or is the sleeve that seals enough?

Do you guys think ziplock bags would have the same effect?
