Harriet Harris would KILL as Hannigan. McArdle just is not cut out for it. She's a Belle, Sally Bowles - more leading lady than character actress.

I love the Terri White idea. Also Allison Janney would be terrific, though maybe a bit too much like Carol Burnett.

Hot damn! Jessica's got some pipes on her. There's another clip of her recently singing a little snippet of "Mama Who Bore Me" on that crappy 90210 show (wasn't it cancelled?) I remember seeing that and thinking she still had it. She'd actually make a really terrific Hannigan the more I think of it.
