Hey guys,

So I finally figured out eBay and am selling some of my Playbill collection to help pay some college bills. I have a lot of special edition and opening night ones up for sale.

Just curious. What is the difference between an opening night Playbill and the regular one?

VintageSnarker- Opening night Playbills have the opening date at the top of the title page.  Sometimes they also have stickers on the outside of them, indicating the date or that it is opening night.  All of opening night Playbills purchased from Playbill.com have the sticker, but it could be different from those obtained at the theatre, like this:

To clarify, the opening night ones I have DO NOT have the sticker on the cover, just the heading over the cast page (as displayed on the right picture above)

Is the Newsies playbill from opening night?

^ I looked, and the answer is no.  The Playbill the OP has listed is from August 2012, which is mostly the original Broadway cast, but not quite. (According to PlaybillVault, Alex Wong left in July 2012)
