Hello BWW Forums!
My name is Amanda. I'm a native New Yorker who loves to talk about all things musical theatre, all the time. I perform in shows and I've also written a few. So I look forward to many interesting conversations here and gaining lots of new knowledge about my beloved arts...
And since I can't think of a clever way to end this post, I'll just say that I am a mezzo character actress and my favorite color is red. Lol. Talk to you all soon!

"Hello! I'm new here."
What a lovely idea for a thread.
No one's ever thought to post an introduction thread like this before!

I'm not usually this nice to newcomers, but I'm partial to both the shows referenced in your screen name--and love the idea of the D'Ysquiths having a rootin'-tootin' American cousin.
Just don't do anything troll-like!
(And watch the Debbie Gravitte clip.)

Thanks much! :)
I watched the clip too. My favorite line was the one about "the flop you thought would run for years." Haha.
