Poppins Today

Saw it today & it was absolutely fantastic. It is the best show Disney has yet to put on broadway IMO

The cast was great. The sets & costumes & lighting were first rate. The choreography was very very good. The score was also top notch

We saw Spring Awakening & although we gave both shows a 10 we liked Poppins more. It is like comparing apples & oranges & SA will probably win the Tony for Best Musical but we thought this better

I have never seen so many people come in late & continue to get up & go out to the bathroom or whatever. It was a constant procession & was quite annoying. Kids in front of us were eating donuts & cookies & were a royal pain in the ass

A few weeks ago we spoke with a woman who was waiting on line when we went to see a show

She did not like Mary Poppins. She did like another show we did not so we took what she said with a grain of salt. Was she ever wrong
