Since we know that they are making Nine to Five and First Wives Club into musicals, do you think the following would work?

1. Steel Magnolias
2. The Golden Girls
3. Sordid Lives

I know I know it might be a stupid topic but since it's been on my mind I wanted to know your thoughts?

Heh, not to threadjack,

but wouldn't a musical version of PEYTON PLACE or VALLEY OF THE DOLLS be insanely amusing?

i've already written a Golden Girls musical, four actually.

we had this joke in college that we all loved this show so much that we would love to see it as a musical. so freshman year my friend and i wrote it for the theatre end of the year banquet. he did music and i wrote the book, basically just adapted it from one of the many hilarious episodes.

so every year after the head of the dept wanted to see a new musical of the Golden Girls at the banquet. so i have four of them. all pretty cheesy, but boy were they fun!

Children and Art:

Share your beautiful Golden Girls Musical with the World!

I can just see it now...MIAMI MIAMI YOUVE GOT STYLE!

Although it would be interesting to see "Don't talk about me like I'm not here" and "Drink your juice Shelby" musicalized. re: Possible Musicals?

Children you just made me sheeite my pants. I can just see the Freda Claxton one...you just made me relive all the goodness that is the girls...although the chicken little episode is practically set up as a musical and it also stars George Hearn!

Sordid Lives.. wow.

Speaking of which, it looks like another Del Shores show is being turned into a movie.
