Well the reason the singing is so bad is because they encourage the audience to sing along! That explains it. I love the comments and the subtext is soooo blatent.
"They want our input, up until yesterday, or even today we could say, 'Hey, what if I said this or did that?' It is such a collaboration!" Read: They didn't know how to fix this turkey and were so desperate they even took suggestions for the chorus girls.
"So many changes...which version are we doing tonight?" Read: If we keep changing it, it's bound to get better, cuz it can't get worse.
"People say 'This is MY music'." Read:We could take a dump on stage and people will still respond to the music.
Mind you I am simply responding to the vidio of what I presume to be what they thought were the best clips they could find. And although I have been one to suggest people wait till the show actually opens to post reviews, they kind of screwed that up for themselves.
