what will happen when George W. leaves office?
I seem to remember reading something with one of the Q guys back in '04 right after the election and the writer asked what would have happened, and the answer was changing the line to "George Bush was only for now," or something like that.
I like to pretend that the bit from Popular is about Dubya:
"Think of celebrated heads of state
Or specially great communicators
Did they have brains or knowledge?
Don't make me laugh!
They were popular, please"
Sometimes I sing, "It's all about nepotism..."
And Jim, open-minded is different from unbiased. Broadway claims to be open and accepting to all kinds of lifestyles, but I've never heard anyone say that Broadway isn't strongly liberal. In fact, most of the Broadway community hates Bush simply because he's NOT open-minded. At least, that's how I see it.
If anything, I think that line is a reference to Reagan, whom they called the "Great Communicator."
I'd call Bush a lot of things, but certainly not a great communicator. He can barely make sense of a scripted speech.

Well, yes. It doesn't fit exactly. I was thinking more of the "heads of state" and "brains or knowledge" part.
