Last summer there was a limited engagement of the Prince and the Pauper on Broadway. I don't remember which theatre it was at, but I do remember that it was very good. The child stars were excellent. If anyone saw it, I would love to hear your opinions.

I didn't see it, but I did have the pleasure of working with Neil Berg (the composer) for a week this summer... and he's a great guy. He apparently has 6 or so new shows in the works.
I saw and thought it was very sweet. They made a soundtrack recording of it, didnt they?
I saw it. It was pretty cute. The child actors, as you said, were excellent. I don't think the music was very memorable, but the show on a whole was very enjoyable.
I didnt see it but I did do a local theatre prodcution of SUGAR BABIES with Rob Jones...who played the hermit, and the dresser in the show. I bought the CD and I liked it a lot. He is such a nice guy and it was awesome working with someone so professional!
How do they make a "soundtrack" of a play? aren't those called Original Cast Recordings? I thought soundtracks were from movies...
I took my niece to see Prince and the Pauper last summer at the Lamb Theater. I have to say I, myself, went mainly for Rob Evan. However, the production was indeed very good, especially for the little ones. I'd see anything Rob was in.... I think he's fabulous.

I saw it several times...with different performers in the title roles. I enjoyed it, especially with Rob Evan as Miles Hendon and Guy LeMonnier, once as Hugh Hendon (the evil brother) and once as Miles. Jersey Girl, did you see Rob in Johnny Guitar and more recently in Little Shop of Horrors?
I saw it last summer...
I like it and it's perfect for children.
I almost bought a sword!

My girl, Kathy Brier, was in it. I didn't see it, but would have liked to. :)
A friend of mine was in this show. It was a great experience for him and the show had a pretty long run. I saw the show many times and it was a very cute show. All of the actors were great (both kids and adults) and the kids couldn't have been sweeter. It was a great show for families.
