Princesses

I don't know if I'm going to see it. No one in my family has any interest in seeing it and neither does my boyfriend. So I don't know. Still sort of deciding. I know though that this season we're going to get a subscription for Sweeney Todd, Wedding Singer and Pippin(boyfriend won out on that one). We're hoping to get tickets to Les Miz(I've already seen it, but I love it so it doesn't matter to me), but the bf hasn't.

So I'll let you know if I'm going and when.

I saw it three times because of the $20 discount they had. I actually ran into about half of the cast at the movie theatre and talked with Jenny Fellner (lead who plays Miranda). I got to go again that night because I got tickets for very cheap, and I stayed afterwards and got to chat with Jenny some more. I got to meet the rest of the cast- and they're all super nice. Princesses is a really fun musical to go see. Fellner and Brent Barret are both very good- as well as the three women who play Miranda's three friends in it. The next day I was downtown again and I was walking past the Fifth Avenue Theatre and noticed a show was getting out- so I stopped by to say hello to the cast again. They all remembered me and I had a good time discussing Fellner's role in Law and Order SVU. Princesses has 4-5 catchy songs that I liked, and the sets and choreography were pretty good. Of course it doesn't compare to Wicked, but I think it has potential if worked with a little before it's Broadway debut in the fall. I wish Princesses the best on Broadway.
