Ok, did I get a defective copy of the OBCR or is the side blank on purpose? As I was looking at my collection today I noticed this black side, thinking an empty case got in there, or something. Not the end of the world, but just curious if this is the same on all copies.
My copy is in my car. I will check tomorrow. We got our copies at the cast signing at Barnes & Noble.
What is OBCR?

You mean the spine? Mine's not blank.
Yes, sorry, the spine. Very strange, mine's completely black on both sides.
Mine is bright pink on both sides and reads:
R2527371 PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT Original Broadway Cast recording Rhino
(Note it does NOT say anywhere that it is a "Soundtrack.")
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com

I may have an explanation: Is the photo on the back of the CD of the "Go West" number? If so, then that image got put in backwards, which would cause all black edges on the CD. The image of the Divas and the song list should be on the back.
Hope that helps.
Ty Ray, looks like that's exactly what happened. Was wondering why the track listing was on the inside. Duh, Mildred!
